How it works?

The LungGearTank T-500 is designed for convenience and ease of use. To begin, fill the tank with compressed air using the included hand pump or a compatible air compressor. Make sure the tank is filled to the recommended pressure as outlined in the user manual. Once filled, attach the provided breathing mouthpiece securely to the air outlet valve.

To use the tank, place the mouthpiece in your mouth and bite down gently to create a seal, then inhale as needed to draw air from the tank. Keep an eye on the built-in pressure gauge to monitor air levels and ensure you have enough air remaining. When the tank is running low, refill it using the pump or compressor so it’s ready for your next use.

Can I fly with the LungGear ?

Yes. When transporting the LungGear via air, you MUST remove all air from the cylinder and unscrew the regulator. You will also need to declare that the cylinder is empty and open. Visual and Hydrostatic tests should be completed before use. After using any LungGear products, allow a 24-hour window before flying.

What kind of air is in the Tank?

The cylinder contains compressed air, which is the same air as the ambient airt hat everyone breathes. It is also the same air that is contained in conventional diving cylinders.

What depth can the LungGear Tank operate at?

For user safety, the LungGear T-500 is restricted to a maximum diving depth of 3m. Nothing will prevent you from descending further. However it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to descend beyond 3 meters.

What happens if I descend below 3 meters deep?

Nothing will happen to your LungGear cylinder, this limit has been set solely to limit the risk to users. Even at 1 meter depth, there are risks to the user so safety instructions must be followed.

The LungGear T-500 complies with PPE (EU)2016/425 tested to standard EN 250:2014 Respiratory equipment. This is the European standard for diving equipment to meet the demands placed on it at depth and under high breathing loads. This involved testing the device at a breathing rate of 62.5 l min-1, submerged in water at a pressure of 6 BAR absolute (equivalent to a depth of 50M). However, the use of any LungGear product beyond a depth of 3M is prohibited.

How do I know how much air is in the LungGear Tank ?

The LungGear T-500has an integrated pressure gauge which allows you to easily check the air pressure.
